The below table summarises the humidifiers that can be used on the VG70 ventilator.
The humidifier that is supplied with the VG70 is a very basic model that does not support heated breathing circuits.
Ortus, therefore, recommend that the supplied humidifier is used as a backup option only. The VG70 is compatible with various humidifiers including, Fisher and Paykel MR850/MR730 and Armstrong humidifiers.
If the humidifier is swapped out for one of those suggested, alternative breathing circuits to the ones supplied will need to be used as per the specific humidifier selected. The breathing circuits supplied will not be appropriate.
